Our school provides students with the opportunity to choose many courses: discussion club for teenagers, training courses for FCE, CAE, IELTS international examinations and other educational programmes that are being planned to combine not only drama techniques, learner-based teaching, but also computer education.

Discussion club has been functioning since the opening of our school. The sessions of this club differ from ordinary lessons as the situations of real communication are reproduced, good educational environment is created, that helps students to express themselves,socialize and enjoy learning English ih the process of intensive interaction. The members of the club suggest the topics to discuss whereas the teacher chooses the material to make the lesson not only informative, but amusing.
We discuss various problems, role-play them to make every club session unforgettable.

Our school holds preparatory courses for passing FCE and CAE in groups and individually. A teacher has not only the best materials, but effective teaching techniques, such as collaborative learning that catalyses interest in learning the language and let a student feel self-confidence. Role-plays are used that help students to master professional roles, that corresponds with aims and objectives of Cambridge exams as the certificates give the chance to get a job of a manager and administrator, or to enter a University with the help of CAE certificate.

Today the amount of exams is increasing and in order to keep up with the times we plan to start preparatory courses for passing “City and Guids” exam. ESOL - English for Speakers of Other Languages – an exam for those who study  English language as a foreign language. The examination committee City & Guilds Pitman Qualification  assesses the knowledge of General English. The exam ESOL Pitman Qualifications is considered to be one of the five famous international exams, that certificates the level of knowledge. At present time “City and Guilds” is acknowledged by many universities and colleges of Great Britain. The certificates have also a good reputation among other universities abroad, in which subjects are taught in English. Employees also trust this exam in 100 countries of the world.
“City and Guilds” has six levels of difficulty:

There are two types of difficulty of the certificates. For  the certificate of the first level one should give 75% of right answers, for the second level – 60% will be enough. Those who fail to pass the exam can see their mistakes after passing it. The teachers from Great Britain are present during the exam as the members of the Committee. The results are announced in 6 weeks, and the certificates are given in 2 weeks.
The popularity of the exam in Russia is growing every year. One can take it twice a year (December and April sessions).
CITY & GUILDS PITMAN QUALIFICATIONS – is the largest examination committee in Great Britain with big list of qualifications that are recognized all over the world and are supported by the British Council in various countries of the world.
City&Guilds Pitman Qualifications is involved in certification of the knowledge of the English language for more than 100 years. The assessment of this committee corresponds with standarts of the Europeancontrol according to the conclusions of European committee on education, and the quantity of candidates that pass the exam anually in many countries, is growing immensely.
